Vintage Martindale Machete. Approximately 28” overall, blade measures 21.75", 2" width at the hilt. Blade reads: Martindale Birmingham Made in England No. 702 with the crocodile image. Carbon steel, with 3 blood grooves. It is in good condition, but does show a little wear.

I purchased the machete in the late 1980s on a trip to Jamaica. It was already an antique at the time I purchased it.
