This listing is for SS Berlin Cabin Deck Plan Ocean Liner American Red Star Line Promenade 26\" Wide. So I think this item is an original deck plan that has been opened up and then matted onto a background. The total item from end to end is 26\" wide and is 15.5\" high. This paper deck plan was matted on an interesting cloth like paper material. It has a nice stock thickness to it. There are a few blemishes on the surface, there is a small scuff mark and a few other marks, see pictures.I have sold other deck and cabin plans from this same collection, and the pamphlet was usually folded up and then you can open it up like a map to see the larger version. The reason I think this is an original deck plan is up close, you can see all the fold lines where this item was folded into a pamphlet. If you have been on my site or purchased from me before, I had sold several of these vintage deck plans in the pamphlet/booklet style. So it looks like the deck was plan was adhered to the cloth material with some kind of adhesive, but it doesn\'t seem like you can remove the deck plan from the matting, it\'s on there for good. On the edges, they are circled up a little, they can probably be flattened out or framed to get the item completely flat.
Overall this item is in pretty good condition considering the age.
