Eagles Prey by renowned World War II aviation artist Robert Taylor. Print #498 of 1250. 33\" x 25\". Painted in commemoration of the formation of American-piloted Eagle Squadrons in the RAF. Contains the handwritten signatures of Americans who flew for the RAF Eagles Squadrons: General Carrol \"Red\" McColpin, Colonel Don Blakeslee, Colonel Oscar Coen, Colonel James Goodson, and Colonel Reade Tilley. The painting shows two American-flown Spitfires flying over a downed Me109 in Northern France. Presented to the present owner by Virginia Bader. Shipping will require the print to be rolled into a mailing tube.
