EXCEPTIONAL KOREAN WAR USN 1952 G1 flight jacket type 7823 (AER) from MONARCH MFG. CO. in a very rare LARGE size
This is a rare USN KOREAN WAR 1952 M-422A MONARCH flight jacket in excellent condition. Contract #: NO. N383s-80667.
This jacket is for the vintage flight jacket collector and connoisseur who wears an actual size 44.
Size 42 label, but please check below the detailed measurements for correct fitting, as Monarch’s jackets fit a bit larger than the stated size (fit more like a 44).
If you wear a size 42/44, this jacket is the original KOREAN WAR “dream” jacket you have been looking for and will be your daily wearer for many years to come.
The jacket is in Paris, France, but I will ship internationally including the US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, etc. at the actual international Colissimo shipping cost. For those destinations, insured shipping with tracking is ~$80, and around €35 for Europe.

More details about the jacket:
- Overall construction: This jacket was perfectly constructed and assembled. There is no construction goatskin leather is gorgeous and in absolute perfect condition, with a very nice and rich dark brown chocolate color.
- The patina is extraordinary. The leather’s grain is superb and has a lot of character.
- The leather is incredibly thick.
- No patches: No patches / name tag were ever stitched to this jacket. There is no “ghost” stitch condition original early 50s CONMAR zipper with original leather pull
- Zipper box, insertion pin and tape are in perfect collar has been replaced with a NOS vintage mouton collar. It is in perfect condition and extremely soft to the touch
- The mouton is in perfect condition, with no bald spot, and in a beautiful brown chocolate color.
- The collar is slightly asymmetrical on the right side. Nothing serious.
- Lining: The original dark green lining is in perfect condition.
- Cuffs and cuffs and knits are in perfect condition. No hole. The material used is incredibly strong and will last nice “scalloped” MONARCH MFG. CO. label is present and in perfect condition

- Front length (top of zipper to bottom of zipper box): 23 ½ inches / 60.5cm
- Sleeves length (shoulder seam to end of cuff): 27 ½ inches / 70cm
- Cuffs: 2 ⅛ inches / 5.9cm
- Shoulders (straight across back at sleeve juncture): 19 ½ inches / 49cm
- Back length (base of collar to bottom of waistband): 26 inches / 65.5cm
