This antique bolster spring, manufactured by Charles Scott Spring Company in Philadelphia patented in 1889, is a unique and rare find for any antique enthusiast. It reads graduated bolster spring For loads from 5 to 30 tons on one side and Charles Scott Spring Company patented Jan 8th & July 9th 1889 cloverleaf graduated NO.258 Phila, Pa on the other. All I can find is the company produced railroad and locomotive springs. I have posted some ads in the pictures but I haven't been able to find any info on this spring. Shows it's age and has rust on the screws.
