1972 Trans Continental Cartographers Pictorial Map of Atlanta, Georgia.

This is an extremely rare and creative 1972 Transcontinental Cartographers Pictoral Map of Atlanta. The map depicts the city of Atlanta in a non-conventional manner, creating a map that is meant more for decoration than for practical use. Several famous Atlanta landmarks are illustrated, Atlanta Stadium (former home of the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons) and Emory University. Other landmarks include Six Flags over Georgia, United Airlines, and shopping malls. The confederate memorial carving at Stone Mountain Park is also depicted.

This map was published by Transcontinental Cartographers of Vancouver, British Columbia in 1972. It was distinctive by A.A. Sales Inc. of Seattle Washington.

Reverse side is blank.

Map has been stored folded. There are obvious fold marks along the creases (pictured), but is in EXCELLENT condition for being over 50 years old!
