1958 Brussels Belgium World's Fair EXPO Souvenir Plate - 7 3/4":

This listing is for a souvenir plate commemorating the 1958 Brussels World Fair Expo. It is a simple design with the only ornamentation being the official Expo '58 logo at one edge, and gold around the rim. The logo is an off-center 5-point star, representing the 5 continents, with the tower of the Brussels City Hall in its center, and a globe and the numerals 58 between the points of the star, on a distinctive orange background. Written in gold around the logo is "Exposition Universelle Bruxelles". On the reverse are the words SOUVEXPO Bruxelles, and GERMANY. The plate measures 7 3/4" across. It is in very good condition with some wear to the gold rim.
