Only Information that we could find on this was from searching the patent # 1757989, which was filed in 1928 and approved in 1930 by the Wolverine Tube Company of Detroit Michigan.used antique, we did wash it but didn't want to get into intense de greasing because we wanted to avoid any damage to the item. it will need some more de-greasing or buffing to make it shine again. actual item being offered shown in the pictures.
