You are buying a unique hand-carved U.S. Air Force Information Operations (IO) wood plaque made in Germany. This plaque was well thought out/designed and then specially created in the 1980s-1990s to pay tribute to the USAF IO in a "humorous lighter side." Please see details below.

DETAILS ON THE USAF INFORMATION OPERATIONS (IO) PLAQUE

Measurements: 11" tall by 9.25" wide and is 1 1/16" thick
Material: Wood
Design: Hand-carved
Origin: Germany
Front Side of Plaque: Features the traditional USAF shield and patch design. The top of the patch features two martini drinks with olives. In the center, there's a side view of a typewriter with a pen/quill and a pencil crossed over it. Below the typewriter is a dog tag with the letters "IO" on it. At the bottom of the shield on the scroll are the words in capital letters "LAST TO KNOW - FIRST TO GO"
Reverse Side of Plaque: Has a drilled hole at the top to hang it on the wall or you can use the metal chain that's attached instead
