You are looking at a CD with 385 images of various models of AMERICAN LA FRANCE Fire Apparatus. Included are examples of ALF rigs from 1916 up through the early 2000\'s. Lots of 700, 900, 1000, and Century rigs as well as commercial chassis These were all posed photos, with no people in the picture, other than an occasional driver behind the wheel. The rigs were posed to obtain strong, even light and the best background available. All photos were shot with quality Canon or Nikon SLR equipment through a normal lens. A very few rigs were shot in a bright overcast, while the great majority were taken in bright sunlight.All except four photos were taken by me, Bill Hattersley. Each rig is identified by Dep\'t, rig #, year, chassis make, and capacities.I travelled from my home near Seattle, Wa to take the photos. Images were shot in the following states: Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Northern and Central California, Southern California, and Canada.
