This is an absolutely gorgeous set of pastel aqua blue WATERTOWN MONTEREY MELMAC DINNERWARE from the 1950s. This vintage set includes 13 dinner plates (10 inch diameter), 9 dessert/bread plates (6 inch diameter), 10 cofffee cups (3.25 inches diameter x 2-1/2 inches deep), 11 saucers (6 inch diameter) and 13 soup/salad bowls (5 inch diameter x 2-1/2 inches deep)! Therefore you have complete service for 9 and if you use the 11th saucer as your 10th dessert/bread plate, you have service for 10! All pieces are in very good condition. Some pieces show signs of minor wear, but those are the exceptions. This casual, retro dinnerware set is made in the U.S. An excellent addition to your collection of mid-century Melmac!
