This is a very striking 4" x 5 1/4" certificate printed on heavy card stock showing a full length photo of the Fokker T-2 on the ground as well as the two pilots, Lts. Kelly and Macready.Attached to the left side of the front of this certificate is a genuine 3/4" x 3/4" piece of the original flown fabric from the Fokker T-2 aircraft. This was the first airplane to make a nonstop flight across the North American continent.The back of the card has two very striking photos of the pilots and the plane and the Fokker on display as well as a brief history of the plane, pilots and the historic 1923 flight.This is a beautiful piece and a terrific conversation item.
