Larimar is a variety of pectolite that was discovered in 1916 in the Dominican Republic, but permission to mine the crystal was never granted at that time. It was rediscovered in 1974 and named by combining the Spanish word for the sea, \"mar\" and the name of the daughter of Miguel Mendez, who collected it, Larissa. Larimar is a trade name, so a reportedly similar pectolite occurrence being found in the USA and Canada will not bear the same name. In any event, Larimar is a most beautiful crystal and in very limited and decreasing supply, leading to the increased scarcity of the material and an equivalent rise in its demand and cost. If there were ever to be a beautiful stone that everyone should experience, Larimar is certainly one. The color varies from white to light blue, green-blue, to a deep blue, with a white lace-like pattern that very much resembles the patterns created by light underwater being refracted from the water\'s surface movement. Larimar has a very wonderful and attractive energy that appeals to most every person that experiences it.

2) For Expedited(FedEx/UPS/DHL/EMS): please deduct $14 for each additional item.
How to pay the combined shipping?
