J.A. Arnell was a research & development craftsmen with the Royal Aircraft Establishment. He received the Imperial Service Medal and had a personal connection to Queen Elizabeth ll as expressed in the letter (not included). These were previously mounted in a display case and were given to him during his ceremony when he was awarded the ISM. The lighter has not been tested, there is wear and dents to the case.
