1946 Indy 500 Floyd Clymer's Indianapolis 1909-1941 Race History IMS 320pp. VGC
This was part of the large well cared for Charlie Walker collection. Charlie was very active in the Indianapolis community. One of his main passions was the track - which was where you would find him through the entire month of May. Charlie served at IMS for over 55 years with the legendary Tom Carnegie on the Public-Address team before retiring in 2014. Mr. Walker passed in 2018.
Aqualitypublication full of detailed photos, charts, accounts of the race and a technical section, among many other features. There is very little, if any filler with these Clymer publications - it's nearly all solid content.
Showing only minor signs of wear or handling consistent with its age - mostly slight toning. A $5 sticker was placed over the $3.50 printed price. Little, if any cover corner bumps and/or surface loss. No writing, tears, fold creases or loss.Colors are vibrant.In very good to exceptionalcondition. It measures approx. 8 1/2" x 11" - and weighs over 1 1/2 pounds.
