He is listed as a harness maker by occupation. The envelope contained $1460. ($1000. in checks and $460. in currency) for Charles P. Tenney, a well-to do gentleman of Houlton Maine. The original receipt, signed by Charles P. Tenney, is still in the envelope. The note is embossed.
