Vintage Rare Self Winding Clock Co Industrial Deco Round Wall Clock RUNS. The early art deco design paired with the very early battery technology is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. It originally took a 3 volt dry cell in each socket, a reproduction battery could be used or a modern replacement retrofitted. The electronics are completely untested. The movement is mechanical & brass, just wound by the battery powered motor once it winds down. It has its original pendulum, face, case, and hands, etc. The movement ticks and appears it would run fine it just makes some contact with the loose wires or something and is stopped. Possibly from a factory or large store, it has a neat early art deco font on the face & to the numbers. It is marked on the face “synchronized self winding clock- made by the self winding clock co.” It makes this an excellent piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! It is in good condition, with no major damage. The glass is not present or included. As stated it is semi-tested. The movement runs for a good while, but it sounds like the pendulum is grazing some wires that should be connected to the batteries and that slows it. I have not tested the electronic components at all, but based on their good physical condition, I would wager they could work as is or with some tinkering. The mechanical clock movement is in good condition, it is currently wound and lightly oiled. I believe the pendulum spring-steel may also not be original. Currently the pendulum holds onto a nail going through a hole in it. It works, but probably isn’t the most time accurate setup. I have not disassembled the movement in any way, just the outer case for cleaning. Face is very clean with almost no wear. Case has some inner patina and light outer wear from age as is usual. Still has its original paint in an interesting dark copper color.

This clock comes from a massive estate collection, and was extremely well cared for in a temperature controlled room. Please check back this weekend & next week for multiple other antique & unique clocks I will be listing!
