Vintage Original 1936 1938 Studebaker Enamel Radiator Grille Trunk Emblem Auld For Sale

An original red enamel radiator grille emblem that I believe fits various models of Studebaker vehicles manufactured in the years 1936 through 1938. I’m not certain of the application or which specific car model(s) or the exact year(s) it was used and so please, before offerding, make sure it’s the part you need for your project or collection.

Overall, the emblem is in very good condition and looks great in display. The red enamel is still shiny & bright with the beautiful underlying spiral design clearly visible. Most of the original nickel plating is still present as well.

The red enamel has just a few very small ‘flea-bite’ chips and one slightly larger chip at about the 3:00 o’clock position. It also shows some light scratches here and there. Nevertheless, still a great looking original ornament, especially for its age.

The original mounting apparatus is present. The threads work fine. The original nut is included. The emblem is stamped twice on back: ‘THE D.L. AULD CO. COLUMBUS O.’ The emblem measures ~71mm in diameter.
