Offered here is this Vintage F. J. Thornton & Co.LTD. Tabletop Scale, The Viking, Wolverhampton. The scale is made of solid brass, with some iron or steel components. The enameling is in great condition, and the scale has obviously been very well cared for. It comes with a set of counterweights that range in weight from 1 pound down to 20 Grams. I am unsure of the actual age of the scale. It is 13” long, 3.5” wide at the base, and is about 8” tall. The small bowl is 5.25” in diameter, and the larger bowl is 9.5” long and 7.5” wide.
