Vintage 1940's BOEING Martin B-29 Superfortress Yoke Cap WWII Bomber Trench Art:

WWII Yoke cap from a B29 Superfortress that has been made into what appears to be a desk paperweight? As seen in the photos the cap has been drilled and a large brass shell has been attached which is very similar to trench art items made during this time period. I have not attempted to clean this piece you will received as I found from a local collector's estate. The brass shell casing has a nice warm patina with the bullet portion highlighted in red paint. Overall, the piece has wear that is consistent with its age I have included a lot of photos for you to determine the condition to your eye.
