Offered is an original 1944 WW2 poster featuring merchantship narratives and silhouettes used to identify various ships in the merchantfleet. Prepared and printed by the United States Maritime Commission on thickposter paper. This one has a fewinteresting notes about a couple of the ships. Hundreds of these were sunkduring WW2 trying to reach England from the United States in conveys – manyright off the US coast line by submarines (by Germany “Wolf packs”). Aninteresting and important poster of WW2 history.
