Reynold\'s 531 Alloy Double Butted Tubing. Been hanging up for the last 50 years. If vintage lightweight road bikes are your thing, you must consider this gem as riding it is so effortless!
Just installed NEW Bontrager tires and it rolls like a dream. When I replaced the tires I had the Simplex Derailleur adjusted and it works and shifts like new. I replaced the original sew up type rims with Matrix clincher rims. Mafac brakes in great shape. Front sprocket was replaced with Shimano. Original Brooks leather saddle shows some wear for age but in very functional condition. This bike looks great and is a dream to ride. I took a few test rides to make sure of condition and now I am placing it on the market for someone else to enjoy this piece of bicycle history.
The frame measures out at 23.5 inches. I can include the original rims if desired. I had it painted burgundy color (original color white) and I believe the paint was called \"Imron\"
