These early ca. 1920 airplanes and flying boat postcards always amaze me. They were so basic but accomplished the jobs that they were designed to do. The airplane industry advanced so quickly. I also have numerous LIFE MAGAZINE articles and picture layouts of WW II planes and related aircraft which I can list.
