The Airbus A300-300 is a wide-bodied airliner manufactured by Airbus Industries. The A330-300 was the first variant and took its maiden fight in November, 1992. A total of 1,497 A330's of multiple variants have been manufactured. Manufactured in the mid-1970's, the A330 was the first airliner produced by Airbus.
Delta Airlines is one of the major airline of the United States. It is one of the world's oldest airlines in operation, being founded on 02 March 1925. In October of 2008, the airline merged with Northwest Airlines. Delta has over 900 aircraft in its fleet, and one of the largest A330 series aircraft operators with 65 in service. Many of the A330 aircraft came with the merger with Northwest.
