Doug Sneyd Signed Original Color Xerox Gag Sketch Art Playboy ~ April 1995 For Sale

From the April 1995 issue of Playboy, this original art features the hand-colored Xerox of the pencils which measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Part of the artists creative process in creating the final cartoon as it will ultimately appear in the magazine. Also included in the listing is the page, removed from the issue, that features the final version of the cartoon (of note, this was one only a few times one of Sneyd\'s cartoons was depicted smaller and included portions of text from other segments of the magazine and not, therefore, a full-page gag). Please note- the magazine itself is not included, just the page with the cartoon as well as the original hand-colored Xerox of the pencils.

About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
