21x19” Antique Wooden Frame Carved Cattails & Full Plate Tintype Wedding Photo For Sale

As found, as shown in the photographs. This estate fresh find was found in an attic with other 1800’s era frames & art. It measures 19” wide by 21” tall by 2” deep overall. The main frame is of wood, possibly carved, and is built in 2 layers, the outer frame and the front moulding. The glass has a matt lustre, but when wet you can see the image much more brightly. The photograph of a newlywed man & woman has about 6x7.5” visible inside the matting, but is a full plate 7.5”x9.5” according to the magnet. It has an original paper backing, which is brittle and deteriorating. We’ll do our best to package it well to help ensure delivery in the condition shown, but it may not arrive exactly as shown regarding the backing paper. The frame has some wear, finish loss, stains/discoloration, etc from 100+ years in an attic, but has no cracks, warping, chipping, structural damage that I can see.
