The map opens to a generous33" x24" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography bythe General Drafting Company.
The coverage area includes Washington, Montana,Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, North and South Dakota,Nebraska, and Utah.
On the reverse side there is a colorful pictorial guide to the regionand arelief map of the entire United States.
The map was distributed by the Carter Oil Company, a marketing arm ofJersey Standard, in 1957 and is copyrighted © MCMLVII(1957)in the legend. The code number in the lowermargin is 357W.
