This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.
Description
Long before he\'d ever drawn his first Furry Freak Bros. Comic strip and long before anyone had ever even heard of underground comix, Gilbert Shelton was filling Pete Millar\'s humor magazine, Drag Cartoons, with episodes of his satirical strip, Wonder Wart-Hog. In 1967 these strips were collected into two issues of Wonder Wart-Hog, the Hog of Steel. In this issue, there are 7 WWH strips, plus an illustrated text story \"Wonder Wart-Hog and The Amazing Disappearing Baseball Team,\" and, of course, two new full color covers featuringthe Hog of Steel.
