Gold trimmed porcelain Chikaramachi 21 Piece Tea set. Chikaramachi China. Chikaramachi was a separate Noritake manufacturing line. It is believed it was considered an apprenticeship program for both porcelain and painting.

Hand painted with delicate, intricate details - shadowy trees, a thicket of cat tails and brush grow around a scenic clear blue pond and sky. A solitary white swan floats along the shore. Tiny little fish can be seen schooling.

Set includes: 4 Dessert Plates measuring 7.5 in diameter

A tea cup and saucer service for 4 with 3 extra cups.

A tea pot, Creamer, Sugar, and a rare tea caddy.

The back is marked with a green Noritake wreath, Made in Japan. These marking indicate it was made between 1924-1935.
