Paintings By Helen Bowen The Sands Point Bath and Tennis Club was founded in 1895.
Legendary symbol of LIGC affluence,
the club was host to frequent famous big bands
and celebrities in the roaring 20's.
Club included dining, tennis, pool, and boasted 150 cabanas
and a large dance floor.
A smaller building burned and was rebuilt in 1920.
Sadly, when that large structure burned in 1986, the club was never reopened.In good condition, tanned paper,
stains (mostly back), minor creases approx. 8 1/2" x 5 1/2",
opens to 11" x 8 1/2"
