VINTAGE PacMin Pacific Miniatures 1/100 Lockeed C-141 Starlifter USAF Desk Model For Sale

Up forsale is a Lockeed C-141 Starlifter Model in 1/100 scale made by PacificMiniatures (PacMin) in Alhambra, California. This is a vintage model and fromthe 60s. The model is constructed from a resin material and is solid. The modelmeasures approximately 19\" in wingspan and 17\" in length, making itapproximately 1/100 scale.

This model isin very good to near mint condition. It would be harder to find a nicer exampleof this model considering its age. No parts have been broken and reattached, andthe model exhibits no major defects. The paint and decals on the model seem tohave yellowed slightly over time, but the details are still sharp and vibrant.There are a few spots such as the cockpit, nose and wingtips that could useminor touchups. The rudder of the tail has a small chip (see picture), and thetip of the left wing also has a tiny chip.

The belly ofthe model, where the model meets the stand has quite a few scratches of varyingdepth.

The engineson these model are often broken, but this one still has all four and none havebeen reattached.

The modelsits on a metal and wood base, which is also in great condition. The wood partof the base appears to have residue on the front from a plaque that has sincebeen removed. There are also tiny chips in the wood on the edges.

Overall, thisis a very displayable piece. It would even be suitable for a museum. It will bepacked with the utmost care for shipping.
