This hinged round Halcyon Days Enamel trinket box commemorates Halley's Comet with constellations and the appearance of the comet in 1986. The comet returns to earth every 75 years.

It is a blue astral globe with the trajectory of Halley's Comet in 1986 across the skies - all in gold. Both halves of the globe are shown.

The inside has a line drawing of Edmond Halley Inside 1656 - 1742. Also has the maker's mark and logo inside - Made in England.
