United PlusPoints are an upgrade currency that United upper-tier elites can apply to upgrade a flight to a higher class of service. Eligible elites can use PlusPoints to upgrade their own flights or flights for any other traveler — even if you aren't flying with them.

This package provides guidance on using United Airlines global upgrades. It includes 10 Plus Points for upgrades on international or domestic flights. Ensure your flight is booked before the expiration date.
How to Use:
1. **Check Availability:** Confirm with me or United Airlines if upgrades are available for your itinerary before purchasing. Flights not instantly upgradable may be upgraded on standby. **Note:** Tickets booked with miles are excluded.2. **Purchase:** Buy this package.
3. **Provide Details:** Share your Reservation/Booking Code, Passenger Names, and relevant flight Segments/Dates.
4. **Upgrade Applied:** The upgrade will be applied electronically. Check your reservation to see if it’s confirmed or requested within a day or two.
Important Notes:
- **Standby Upgrades:** If your upgrade is waitlisted and not cleared by departure, no refunds are available. However, I will upgrade another eligible flight before 1/31/2025.- **Eligibility:** Check United's website for upgrade details and confirm your ticket's eligibility.
The amount of PlusPoints required depends on whether your flight is short-haul or long-haul, the cabin you booked and which cabin you would like to book for your upgrade. For example, it costs 20 PlusPoints to upgrade from economy to first class on short-haul flights. Or, use 30 PlusPoints to upgrade from United premium economy to United business class on long-haul flights.United publishes two PlusPoint reward charts — one for short-haul flights and the other for long-haul flights. Short-haul flights are flights without United Polaris business class that are:
- Within the U.S., including Alaska, Hawaii and premium transcontinental service.
- Between the U.S. and Canada, Bogota, Central America, Caribbean, Mexico and Quito.
- Between Guam and Honolulu — including island hopper service.
- Intra-Asia flights.
