Planetags Titan II Missile Tag Planetag #598 For Sale

This is a piece of the airframe of a Titan II missile, the largest Intercontinental Ballistic Missile ever deployed by the United States.

This piece came from the spacer section used to mate the Reentry Vehicle (where the W-53 warhead was carried) to the Stage Il airframe.

The material is 2014-6 aluminum, an alloy of aluminum and copper that was formulated specifically for the Titan Il and not found anywhere else. Its primary mission was "Peace Through Deterrence" and was never used against another nation.
