Original WWII Royal Italian Alpine Regiment Hat With 80 Year Old Edelweiss For Sale

This is an original WWII Royal Italian Alpine Brigade Regiment Hat, also known as a CAPPELLO ALPINO hat. The hat is a unique piece of militaria from the Italian army. It was worn by a SOLDATO in the Alpini unit during the conflict of WW II (1939-45). It is possible it is also from World War I, as these mountain alpine Italian regiments had a tradition of wearing these hats for many decades. Something very unique about the hat is dried edelweiss, still stuck in the hat. Very rare and unique.
