Made as a promotional Airplane in resin with metal and wooden floor stand 1:100 scale.This NW/KLM airplane is in mint condition and has been stored away in it's original PacMin box with all the original packing for nearly 23 years! Northwest and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines formed the world's first airline alliance with coordinated schedules, prices and capacity. Now, travelers did not have to fly multiple planes, recheck luggage, and keep track of several tickets to reach a single destination. The first joint service-twice-weekly flights between the Twin Cities and Amsterdam-took off April 2, 1991. The DC-10 was one of the backbones of Northwest’s fleet before the Airbus A330s came along.
