This Native American porcupine roach headdress with stand is a stunning piece that dates back to the late 1880s to early 1900s. Condition is good; it looks like some areas on roach were made with sections of porcupine hair cut shorter than others. I have seen ones like this ih antique Native American photos where it laid flatter on the warrior's head instead of straight up. Great conversation piece and very old. The provenance of this headdress is unfortunately not available, but its beauty and craftsmanship speak for themselves.
