Music Box Decanter—Novelty Item for Bars, Man Caves, etc Never filled. MINT 1940: $79.00
This vintage, extremely rare music box decanter was bought originally in Australia in the 1940’s. It has been stored very carefully in a private collection since new. It works perfectly. Music box plays the tune “How Dry I Am” from the lyrics in the song written by Irving Berlin and performed in the Ziegfeld Follies in 1919. The music box is in flawless condition. The decanter has never been filled. The head of the figurine incorporates a cork stopper for the decanter. It plays the tune when picked up and works with a period clockwork mechanism. An absolute gem of a decorative novelty item for a bar or man cave.
