Description THIS IS A FANTASTIC 1960s LARGE EARLY FACTORY DESK MODEL OF A US NAVY CHANCE VOUGHT F8U-2N CRUSADER FIGHTER JET PLANE. THE FUSELAGE TO TIP OF TAIL MEASURES 13\" LONG. THE MODEL IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION EXCEPT FOR SOME SMALL CRACK IN THE BASE OF WING AT FUSELAGE AS SEEN IN PICTURE. THIS CAME FROM THE ESTATE OF USN RETIRED CAPTAIN KENNETH WALLACE, WHO WAS A MEMBER OF THE BLUE ANGELS FLYING TEAM IN THE 1950s, 60s AND 70s. HE ALSO WAS A COMBAT PILOT WITH TWO TOURS IN THE KOREAN WAR AND 3 TOURS IN THE VIETNAM WAR. IT IS IN OVERALL GREAT CONDITION, IT NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING.Kenneth R.
