Large rareoriginal antiqueprint from an 1890s French illustrated journal. It depicts a German Wirehaired Pointer (Deutsch Drahthaar, Deutscher Drahthaariger Vorstehhund, Drahthaar) alerting the hunter that he has tracked the wounded deer after the hunt.

The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of it, with a Frenchcaption below it.
