Launched July 8, 1935. Maiden voyage Gdynia-Copenhagen-New York May 18, 1936.
Became an Allied transport in 1939. First voyage after World War II Gdynia-New York May 1947.
Placed in Gdynia-Bombay-Karachi service in August 1951.
Returned to Gdynia-Montreal service in August 1957.
