* You are offerding on an early 1880's head lamp made by the Overman Wheel Company of Boston Massachusetts.
* This antique lantern was likely used on an early Spring Fork Victor solid tire Safety bicycle circa 1887 - 1892. It may have been used on a Victor adult tricycle circa 1885 - 1888.
* One side lens is missing (see photo)
* The correct burner is present yet the cap for the filler hole is missing
* The front lens is fine as is the left side lens and two rear lenses.
* It is stamped "Patent APL'D For" beneath the front lens - a rare early lamp
* Lamp is 6 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches wide
