This antique Chinese Canton porcelain hand painted tea cup features a beautiful butterfly, bird, and floral design, handcrafted in China with intricate attention to detail. Scalloped edges and gold trim, which is wearing off in places. Hand painted floral pattern around inside rim of cup. Tea cup has been well loved. A major staple repair can be seen in pictures on one side of tea cup. To repair ceramics with staples, small holes are drilled into the piece and then the staples are inserted. 2 cracks also noted inside cup. Still a very pretty piece even with these imperfections. Unmarked. Measures 2 1/4” tall x 3 3/4” in diameter.
