Whether you love Donald Trump or hate him, this is a special Silver Eagle. This is a Philadelphia minted Silver Eagle struck in 2017. For some unknown reason a very small group of other 2017(P)’s were put into a burlap bag and stored at the Philadelphia Mint. Then in 2020 during the COVID outbreak, someone at the Mint found this bag holding the 2017(P)’s and the U.S. Mint Emergency Issue was born. Bags of coins were then saleed off to Authorized Distributors, and I happened to grab a few coins with very historic labels featuring Donald Trump. Coin is a beauty and has been Quality ✔️ to ensure there were no imperfections. There were none. Coin is known as a 2017(P) (2020) as it was struck in 2017, but not released to public until 2020 due to the COVID Pandemic. Hence the parenthesis around the 2020 date on the label.
