In the very first Pentrex previews tape made in 1986, you’ll enjoy a clip montage from the early years of the once Southern California based company: huge mix of diesels on the Alaska railroad, BC rail, Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, Santa Fe, Amtrak, & even some steam engines like SP daylight 4449 heading to New Orleans in 1984 for the site of that year’s World’s fair, as well as a trip to Los Angeles for the filming of tough guys by touchstone which is a subsidiary of the Walt Disney company, plus numerous locomotives visiting Vancouver BC for SteamExpo ‘86. After the highlights of these very first titles, there is a coming soon montage for the best of 1986. Unfortunately, the original case that comes with this very first sampler tape is nowhere to be found, but at least it comes in a blank cardboard case.
