1970 Inaugural \"Schlitz Cup Series\" S.C.C.A 3rd Place Trophy Cup- KY Region For Sale

Sports Car Club of America\'s inaugural 1970 \"Schlitz Cup Series\" featured an autocross competition for car enthusiasts across the United States. This Sheffield England tankard is a 3rd Place trophy cup for the Kentucky Region Schlitz Cup Series, won by Chris Carrell and acquired from his Louisville KY estate.
Chris was one of the last family owners of Louisville\'s \"Falls City Theatre & Equipment Co.\" whose iconic sign now graces The Omni Hotel\'s speakeasy in downtown Louisville. He was an international playboy, British sports car collector and race car driver. His \"car barn\" was a highlight of our career, to say the least.
The tankard trophy cup measures appx 5\"t x 4.5\"w with a 4.5\"diameter base and a 3.25\" mouth.
