• The map was published by the Standard Oil Company of Indiana in 1946,and it is dated by the code number in the lower margin: T-3.
• There's atranscontinental highway map of the United States on the reverse side.
• The cover artwork shows Standard's distinctive red-white-and-blue ovalservice station sign, along with the rectangular sign it was replacingat Standard gas stations.
