Excellent Original Pierce Arrow Archer Mascot from a V-12 automobile. This early radiator hood mascot was purchased at the AACA Hershey, PA. Fall swap meet in 1974. At that time many original Classic Car accessories were available for sale on the Chocolate Field by seller\'s before it was paved over.
There is no damage or issues as can be seen in the pictures. When I bought the mascot, the archer\'s arrow was not present and I never tried to replace it. Under the cap you can tell that it was once used on a Pierce Arrow car. At the time the seller told me that it came off a friends car and he replaced it with a plain cap before that car was sold.
Notice the two hallmarks on the archer; 1) TIREUR d ARC 2) W.N. SCHNELL
This is a very heavy, well made mascot weighing approximate 3 lbs.
Has the original chrome plating as can be seen in the images. Could use some cleaning up and detailing. However it\'s been sitting on my book shelf all these years, will leave that up to the new owner.
