All stamps are guaranteed to be fault-free, with original (never hinged) gum, and to be just as fresh as when they were purchased in a post office 95 years ago.Included with the set is the information insert pictured.(Stamp Tip: This set contains two varieties of the "Electric Light Golden Jubilee" stamp - the flat plate printing and the rotary press printing. An easy way of determining whether a mint stamp is flat or rotary printed (without a perf gauge) is to check the reflection of light on the gum. If you see one or more straight "bands" (gum breaker ridges) in the gum, it was made on a rotary press; if it has no bands, it's a flat plate printing).
Please note that the stamps are not mounted to any surface. Because of the white borders of both the stamps and the insert, they have been scanned against a black background for a clearer view of both the stamps and the card. The original gum on the stamps has not been disturbed in any way. All stamps are shipped in protective glassine envelopes.This set would look especially nice framed and would make a great birth year gift!
