A four-piece badge with yellow backing ribbon for the 51st National Encampment Boston, Massachusetts. The top piece is an eagle with a rear pin attachment (intact). The first drop is inscribed "Representative" and exhibits a red, white and blue enameled GAR and an American flag. The second drop shows buildings and marching soldiers with inscriptions "Old State House, Cradle of Liberty, Boston 1917". The bottom pendant is a bust and inscribed "Commander and Chief William J. Patterson". Reverse side shows the encampment information. This whole medal is in great condition ....ribbon shows very mild wear and aging with beautiful color.
